Partnerships

The mission of EATRIS is supporting our clients in developing their biomedical discoveries for novel preventive, diagnostic or therapeutic products up to clinical proof of concept. In the process, we utilize the interfaces and synergies with other infrastructures to generate added value, avoid duplication and improve effectiveness. Among others we work together with.

BBMRI-ERIC is the European Research Infrastructure for biobanking and biomolecular resources established in 2013 under EU legislation. Tissue and bio-banks, expertise in human and animal (model) pathology, quality standards & policies in biobanks, patient data banks, disease-specific data banks.

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: IMTM

Follow-up of projects that successfully passed clinical phase 0, I and IIa to late phase II and beyond; use of ECRIN where multi-centre studies are needed even for early phase clinical trials; exchange observations from the clinic back to scientists (reverse translation), expertise in regulatory affairs, common training courses.

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: MU

INFRAFRONTIER provides consultation in choosing the right animal model for pre-clinical studies, characterisation of novel and disease-specific (mouse) models; archiving of such; quality and regulatory standards in animal facilities (animal husbandry, animal studies, etc.), training courses.

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: No direct participation, but close collaboration on animal models between IMTM and Institute of Molecular Genetics, AS CR, v.v.i. – INFRAFRONTIER national node

Instruct-ERIC provides access to specialty infrastructure components in structural biology, e.g. in small molecule characterization, elaboration of a biological mechanism of action.

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: CEITEC-MU

EU-OPENSCREEN serves a collaborative use of technology and interdisciplinary expertise for small molecule discovery and development, access to large compound libraries or chemo-informatics, databases.

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: IMTM, UCT Prague, CEITEC-MU

Euro-BioImaging offers open access to biological and biomedical imaging technologies, training and data services. Collaboration on nonstandard/sophisticated problems in advanced light microscopy to medical population imaging, training.

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: IMTM, CEITEC-MU

ELIXIR CZ offers data resources for life-science researchers throughout Europe. For management and safeguarding of data being generated every day by publicly funded research. It supports life science research and its translation to medicine, agriculture, bioindustries and society

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: IOCB Prague, IMTM, CEITEC-MU, UCT Prague

CZECRIN - National Node of ECRIN-ERIC thus supports and enables the implementation of major multinational non-commercial clinical trials and active participation in pan-European projects funded under FP7, Horizon 2020, or IMI2.

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: MU, IHBT, FNUSA

RECETOX is engaged in research and education on managing the environmental and health risks associated with the chemicals around us

Participating institutes within the EATRIS-CZ: MU

The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) is an initiative that promotes the value of well-described and openly accessible research data at the pan-European level, with the ambition to comprehensively address all aspects of research data management.
